Kohawk Tennis Camp
June 17th – 22nd, 2012

Registrations received by April 1st, 2012 will receive the following discounted prices:

Overnight Camp - $540 ($35 discount)
Extended Day Camp - $450 ($25 discount)
Day Camp - $380 ($20 discount)

There is also a discount for multiple children - $50 discount for each additional registration (for example, two children registered prior to April 1st would pay $540 and $490 respectively for the overnight option).

Just as in year’s past, Coe College will host a week-long tennis camp.  Campers will receive top-notch instruction in all aspects of the game – fundamentals, tactics, emotional control, etc.  Match-play and the building of competitive skills will be stressed.  Individual assessment (possibly including video analysis) will be received.  The atmosphere is fun-filled and will include games and prizes throughout the week.

Typical Daily Schedule:
7:30 – 8:30 Wake Up / Breakfast
8:30 – 9 Stretching / Warm-Up
9 – 12 On-Court Instruction / Conditioning
12 – 1 Lunch
1 – 2 Coach’s Corner Discussion
2 – 5 On-Court Instruction / Conditioning
5 – 6 Dinner
6 – 9 Optional Match-Play / Evening Activities
9 – 10 In the Dorms
10 Lights Out

Evening Activities May Include: Pool Party, Movie Night, Racquetball, Ping-Pong, Kickball, Frisbee.

Instructors: Primary Staff Includes the Coe College Tennis Coaching Staff and Players.

Additional Notes:
-  All campers will receive a Kohawk Tennis T-Shirt.
-  Tennis players of all abilities welcome – from beginner to high performance juniors.
-  Ages 8 – 18.
-  Overnight campers will likely be staying in Armstrong Hall.

The Clark Racquet Center, considered by some to be the crown jewel of Coe's athletic facilities, includes racquetball and squash courts. Six indoor and six outdoor tennis courts are used to host several Iowa Conference tournaments as well as home matches. The Center boasts a six-lane 200-meter indoor track with a Mondo-Super X Tartan surface, the finest available. Clark also offers a Universal weight room, an aerobics room, sauna, classroom and conference room.
