Coe College Soccer Camps 2008

Elementary Camp (Grades 1-5)

Elementary Camp is designed to introduce and teach the fundamentals of soccer. We will utilize a variety of innovative teaching methods, drills and games to instill technical confidence while having a ton of FUN.

Middle School Camp (Grades 5-8)

Middle School Camp stresses fundamentals while incorporating team concepts and play. Emphasis is placed on developing individual offensive and defensive skills. Sessions include instruction on power & finesse shooting, dribbling, passing, crossing and basic team tactics.

Striker Keeper Camp (Grades 9-12)

Striker Keeper Camp is designed for high school players with the most on the line for determining the outcome of a game.  This is not just a shooting camp; it’s a scoring/saving camp.  For strikers it covers all areas of attacking: Power shots, finesse shots, scoring off the dribble (1 v 1), reading defensive players, breaking down defenders 1v1 and 1v2, combination play, learning how to become an effective finisher and more.  For keepers it covers angle play, crosses, breakaways, pass-backs, diving, organization of the back line, shot blocking and more.

Located adjacent to the Racquet Center, the Clark Fields feature a 2,200-seat football/soccer stadium with a full-size press box, rooms for home and visiting teams, and a concession area. An eight-lane Balsam track surrounds the field, which hosts football and soccer contests. A softball diamond, constructed in the Northeast corner, features some of the largest concrete dugouts in the state. With a full-field tarp, Coe can cover its clay infield and grass outfield with ease. Seating is available for 250 spectators. A track and field practice area and an intramural field fill out the space.
